I think being a Wedding Photographer is the BEST job in the world!!!!
Not only do you get to go to weddings every weekend (well almost every weekend) but you also get to capture the most precious moment in two peoples lives, a moment that changes them and makes them one.
Do you want to know what’s even better? Capturing the Wedding day as a wedding photographer for your best and longest friend! And guess what, thats exactly that I did this Saturday!
Honestly I love being part of the wedding day, every single wedding that I capture, but this one was different, much more emotional for me at least, and such a privilege to be part of this wedding.
Ok back track a bit so that I can tell you about this friend of mine! His name is Andrew, and he is like a brother I never had! I have known Andrew for over 19 years! We meet at TAFE and became great friends over a Cooking class! We were both studying Hospitality management and in cooking class we sat next to each other. I remember picking items of his plate that he didn’t like and he did the same to my plate with things I didn’t eat! Fast forward a few years, while working on the Sunshine Coast, Andrew was working on the Gold Coast, we would catch up for a drink or lunch, just the same as we did every time I came back to Adelaide. Fast forward a couple more and Andrew was our flat mate before Alex was born…
Come to think about it we celebrated most of our big milestones together. Our 21st birthday parties, my wedding and now his Wedding to Emma! And yes I love Emma just as much as I love Andrew!!! She is perfect, caring, loving and such an amazing person who just happens to love my friend Andrew!
I wont get into the details but I knew I loved Emma from the every first time I spoke to her! I was in Adelaide one time and rang Andrew like I usually did to get together for a coffee or dinner at my parents house! As you can imagine I was a bit surprised when a girl answered his phone… It went a bit like this….Emma “Hello”, me “uuummm Hello, can I speak to Andrew… did I ring the right number?” Emma” may I ask who is speaking?” me “its Angie or Agnes…(long story)” , Emma” Oh Angie!!! Andrew is not available at the moment but I will tell him you called and he will call you straight back!!!! ” me” ok great thank you!” OMG who was that and why does she sound like she knows all about me!
Fast forward a few months and their beautiful little girl was born! Bethany, both Andrew and Emma were ment to be parents and they are doing such a great job at it! Here is a link to their Engagement Shoot back in September
Ok fast forward again to Saturday the 27th of March, their wedding day! I flew in from Sydney in the morning and meet Andy at the local Golf Range, why? Just because it was his wedding day and to pass the nervers away they went to hit some golf balls!

Hope you enjoy these! Thank you again for letting me be a part of your wedding day! Love you guys!!!
